That look to me like a belt tensioner because the way the belt wrap around it. Are you sure that's where the noise came from. Try spray WD-40 on all the belt to see if the noise go away.

Hey Klinh,
i did spray some WD 40 on it(the tensioner) before and the noise does go away until the liquid evaporates and the noise is back on. Is that part expensive on top of your head? |

Got the car back. it was just the belt. $130 covered under extended warranty. phew
Feels so much better without the noise. Thanks for the all the help guys |
