Just bought these rims

Hello,

I just bought a set of CLK 63 Black Series rims.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170715623390...#ht_634wt_1417

I have a 2005 CLK 500 Coupe with exterior AMG package. I wanted to know what the best tire option would be in terms of fitment and even suggestions on the tires. I want a clean flush look with the fender. Thank you in advance.

You won't need a spacer up front as ET25 is more than enough, ideal for the rear is about ET 25 as well so you could add a 5mm spacer but it'll be a nightmare since its not hubcentric, you'll have to go with 10mm.

I was wondering if anyone had insight about tire sizes. Also I don't understand the hub centric thing, i was wondering if you meant that spacers aren't a good idea or that the 5mm ones aren't.

The 5mm spacers will cause vibration issues since it's too thin to become hub centric.

10mm is the least you can go if you wanted a hub centric spacer.

I had 5mm on the front before and it caused my steering wheel to vibrate over 110km/h.

Front 235/35/19 and rear 265/30/19 tire sizes seem popular among members here.

Come on hurry up and install them on the car and upload few pictures. LOL

+1

Those are the tire sizes I am running and having no issues. As for the spacers, 10mm is where you want to start, under that (5mm) is not hubcentric and wil provide you with a wealth and lifetime of suicide inducing vibrations.

I'm waiting for them to be shipped. I live in Canada so it was gonna be like 600$ but I used my business account with FedEx so got it to 210$ they should arrive in 5 business days. I also bought a Euroteck carbon fibre front lip. Now I'm looking for a carbon finer rear diffuser and not sure which to get.

Also for the rear tires 265/30/19 is going to be way too thin. For streets here in Montreal I would have bubbles on my tires within a week. The width was what I was looking for. I appreciate all of your insights.

Try Edmonton streets lately? They mimic German airstrips at the end of WWII, for a capital city their infrastructure is pathetic.

I just have one more inquiry before they go on tomorrow. I was wondering if there's anything I need specifically whether it's a spacer or certain length of bolts to make sure these fit on my 2005 CLK 500, I just want to make sure that it was a straight fit.
