My Quad Exhaust Project with a pair of Eisenmann

After months of contemplating I finally decided on a pair of “Eisenmann Race” mufflers with quad tips for my exhaust project. Because from what I read on here and other MB/BMW forums, Eisenmann Race system could be pretty loud, especially for DD. So I decided to keep the all three in-line resonators...

Khan’s Auto NYC did everything on my project from cutting the bumper, installing the spare tire well and welding pipes. Me being a borderline perfectionist and demanding arseho1e (I did warn him upfront- LOL), I have to say the shop did a meticulous job. Here is link the video. Eisenmann gives out deep and ANGRY growls at 2000rpm and beyond.

Considering how long I’d been searching for a qualified shop in NYC area, I just want to let those members in the area know about Khan’s Auto. It is a general auto repair and body shop and equipped with MB star diagnostic and Shawn is the MAN who did my exhaust who also co-owns the place with his Dad.

Ahh, let me add, Shawn drives an s55. heheh...

Wow sounds amazing! I like how you recorded it mid-process.

So much growl, sounds so aggressive. Imagine what it sounds like with all the resonators out!

Very nice. I wish that I could do that on mine, but I don't think there are any options for the cabriolet due to the extra body stiffeners underneath.

Thanks to all for the kind words.
Disco, it would be too loud with all resonators deleted. If it was just a weekend car then I might do it. But it was not.
Mbenz, tips came with the mufflers. They are engraved with the word eisenmannn.

Mine too LOL. And I agree, the eiasenmann race was unbearably loud when I took my resonator off. Had to put it back on 2 days later.

So did you buy the CLK55 eisenman quad for this? I remember thinking about doing that when somone was selling a brand new exhaust on here for 1200.

Lowpost, I bought the Eisenmann made for clk55 AMG. I wanted to have a "true" quads and I really like the sound of an Eisenmann Race but didn't realize it could get that loud. LOL. Do you have any sound clip on yours?
