Don't forget that the CLK500 has performance tires that are rated for summer use. You really should switch to snow tires or at least all seasons tires for your winter driving.

Don't some CLK's now come with all season tires? I think mine did, but I've been away from my car for almost 2 months and don't remember. Car only has 150 miles on so I haven't spent much quality time with it. I know for a fact I do not have the Pilots, but don't remmeber what I do have.

I imagine a CLK-500 would not perform well in snow. That is why I also have a 330xi BMW. The bimmer works great in the snow. The CLK-500 is a blast to drive in most situations but not necessarily in snow.
