Very good to know, I'm going to get it done before I drive it down south for the winter. The problem I'm having is that the plan was to leave it there on a permanent basis but I'm really having fun with this car not so sure I want to be w/o it next summer here in the midwest! Oh, the best layer plans!

I have an odd issue with my SmartTop controller and maybe someone can help. Sometimes it doesn't lower or raise the right side front window. When it doesn't lower, the oft top won't open (it stops after opening the cover and the rear glass). But this is only when I double or triple-tap the lock/unlock buttons on the SmartKey fob. The window works just fine from either OEM switch, or from the soft top switch when either double-tapping it to raise/lower windows or single-tapping it to raise/lower the soft top. It's only when using the SmartKey fob to raise/lower the windows (by double-tapping the lock/unlock buttons) or triple-tapping to raise/lower the top. It works about 50% of the time. I've reset the door controller and re-synced the glass, but that didn't help. Oh, and if I leave the glass slightly lowered (as I might do on a hot day in the office parking lot), it always works. Any ideas?
