Quad Projector DEPO Headlights with 6k O-Nex HIDs

Install was a PITA, however they look much better and give better light output than the stock halogen lights.

The spread basically lights up the entire street (My street is huge)
It's good enough for me.

installation is a pita! but the end result is awesome.

i have the all black quads as well. next step for me is a custom Quad projector. im going to bu a set of OEM headlights and take it from there.

I have these. I installed HIDs in the high beams as well. I fear no dark roads, and slow cars in the left lane move over quickly - flashing them looks like a lightning storm coming from behind.

Side note, if I have the self-leveling headlamps on my 2004 CLK 500--- would I get a dashboard error if I installed the quad projector headlamps? My driver side is very foggy and does not self-level itself all the time...

I replaced my headlights when I cracked one on my 2005 E320, and I got an error forever on my dashboard. It is because mine were the adaptive HID's that curved with the steering wheel.

One of my high beams shoots left too much.. Do the adjustment knobs control both projectors?

I think the up down adjustments work. I think the other knob is just a dummy. Btw the hid that came with the depo we t out after a few months and I replaced with some 55w hid. I'll try and take a pic for you

The knobs serve a purpose - they tension the suspension springs on the internal mechanism. After adjusting the headlights to the desired position, you'll want to rotate the knob to release tension, then rotate again to tighten it. THis will help keep the lens from vibrating.

I figured it out. My passenger side was pointed inwards too much. I aligned it correctly and now the high beams shoot straight, my spread is also better.

so, installed the quad projector's from depo aaaaaaaannndd, they won't turn on! I get the error code on the dash that the low and high beams are out ... does this mean I have to have the dealer turn on the xenon function in the computer since my car came with halogen's??

If you used an error-cancelling HID kit, then no coding is necessary. Check the wiring connections. One of mine had a bent pin on the headlight socket and another had the pin push out of the socket.

if they are Depo's shouldn't they be error cancelling?? I bought them NIB from a member here -- I will ck the connections but I find it weird that neither one of them lights up ... I also tried one of them with a brand new spare ballast I have from TRS and still NOTHING ... I'm at a loss ...

The ones I bought came with "error-free" ballasts, so I would hope that yours did, too. Even if you connect non-compatible ballasts to the MBZ system, you will generally get an initial illumination, then flashing and then it will shut off the circuit. Since you get absolutely nothing, I still think it's a wiring harness issue. Do any of the lights work - park lights, high beams, or turn signals? If not, it's definitely a wiring harness issue.

yeah I get nothing! is it something I can fix? do I need to remove them again? I hope not as I already installed the bumper back on

Again, remvoe the wiring harness on the back of the headlights and check the pins.

Got ur fixed! Thx Rudeney -- so what happened was that 2 pins on each of lights was shoved down to where the lock that was designed to keep the pin up and in place was bent back, so had to small needle nose pliers and a womens hair bobby pin to straighten the lock - once got that done re-installed the lights and now they are working other the passenger turn signal - thinking maybe bulb is bad but at least the quad projector headlights are working!
