Trunk lid

The trunk lid seems to have become misaligned, it has become very difficult to close and I have to bang it shut which can't be good. I also notice that the corner (nearest the back window) is slightly raised. The roof opening/closing is working fine. My car is a 2005 clk500. HELP

NO LONGER ACTIVE
So it's sticking up at the hinge point? There is no height adjustment at the hinge - only front-to-back and side-to-side adjustments. I'd check the hinge to make sure nothing is broken or bent.
