something like a CL 65 engine, would it fit?

And I'll add that the V8 is a pretty tight fit - only and inch or so between the pulley and fan shroud, so if the V12 is any longer, which I assume it is, you'd be doing some serious modifying.

just a pipe dream,
saw a non turbo engine for sale around 3k.

probably better just getting a cl though.

10 years later, "Yes, it is almost done. Still needs paint though."

With all the electronics, transmission tunnel and linkage, plus the space under the hood and suspension location....this could take major trial and error and major dollars.

Good luck if you begin this project.
