Carbon Fiber Lip Install

My carbon fiber front lip comes today and i was curious, most members in the past have drilled holes. Would there be any issues with using a combination of both 3M tape and Silicone Glue? i dont plan on going over 100mph so i can think of any issues. Let me know! thanks

I drill holes for extra support. Are you doing this yourself or having a shop do it?

teat fit it, make a template if you can, measure twice, and you should be good.

I had my my lip spoiler and rear diffuser screwed on for safety purposes and my peace of mind. my boot spoiler on the other hand is attached with double sided tape and silicone glue. so far so good!

I did the same with the trunk spoiler.

I used tape, screws on the ends and three rivets across the front. My car is lowered and should I hit something on the road, I wouldn't want the lip spoiler flying off and causing an accident.
