Sunroof Panel

I am not sure what it's called. I am looking for the fabric panel of the sunroof; the panel which slide backward when you open the sunroof.

I looked for it in parts.com under Body Hardware, Roof, Sunroof but could not find this panel. Any help is appreciated. Also, is this part easy to replace?

It's called the "sunshade" and it's $450 at parts.com (I arbitrarily looked up a MY2004 CLK320 - please update your forum profile so we'll know in the future what car you drive )

It's very easy to replace. To do so, just open the shade fully, then open the glass halfway. On the leading edge of the glass, there will be a plastic trim piece. Remove it (it's just clipped in place) and then open the glass fully. Now you will be able to close the sunshade with the glass open. Now you can access the shade from the top (outside). It has four spring clips holding it into the track. Just release those and the shade can be lifted out of the sunroof opening.

Thanks and profile updated.

My sunshade is working good but there are some "bubbles" on the fabric. Not replacing it since it"s $450.

Same thing happens on my C240. I removed the shade, then peeled the fabric off. I used a nylon brush to remove the remnants of the foam backing from the surface of the shade and then used 3M brand upholstery spray adhesive to re-attach the fabric.
