Random failures with lights

Hi all benz gurus,

This thing has been going on for a while. I call it a thing cause I don't know if it is regular behavior or a problem. My 2005 CLK 320 was doing great up till a couple of years ago. Then light bulbs would slowly throw up warning messages. I would replace one, then another would go. Then another. I've probably replaced 15 or so in 24 months. Majority have been a generic brand from Autozone.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues? I'm ignoring the messages now. So frustrated.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
These are the rear bulbs? You just need to replace them all. The rear SAM detects bulbs faults through resistance changes, and a good bulb paired with a weak bulb can fool it. Also, when you replace bulbs, be sure to check the contacts on the sockets and clean as necessary.

Thanks for the replay Rodney. So you're saying replace all the lights in the rear and that should solve the problem? Can I get all the bulbs at Autozone or do you recommend dealer bulbs?
