Rear fog light, which bulb?
So I turned on the rear fog light and I can't see a difference between the driver side when it's on, and the passenger side...
Does anyone know which bulb the rear fog light is on the driver side? Should it be noticeably brighter than not having it on? I know I have seen Audi's and their rear fog light is annoyingly bright when it's on..lol I just want to make sure it works.
Thanks much,
-Nigel

I believe there is only one rear fog light...perhaps the back up light on one side? Hopefully someone will get you the definitive answer soon...

The left rear fog light bulb is a # 7225 (MB part # 000-825-01-94) and is dual filament (21watt/4watt) and is in the #5 position in the CLK bulb holder, it has 130 degree offset pins on the base.
The rear sam unit controls it. you will notice it when on, 5 times brighter than the tail light.

Appreciate it!
I checked the bulb and both filaments are intact... I should get another bulb to test just to make sure I guess. When I pull the control knob in towards the driver twice I can see the LED come on indicating that the rear fog is on but it's not any brighter. Also no errors for bulbs so hmmmm....lol
I am only doing this when the car is OFF... does the car need to be cranked on for the rear fog light to come on? All other lights come on when the car is off other than the blinkers so perhaps I will try that just in case?
Thanks for the help so far!

Welp I'm an idiot.
I had them on parking/fog and it didn't illuminate. As soon as I turned the switch to HEADLIGHTS and then pulled the knob, it got brighter! Case of user error!
