Isn't replacing the weight sensor a bit of a PIA ? Not that I'm thinking of doing it now but at some point I'll have to do something with it.

i really have no idea about it. i once had the baby seat sensor (dont know how that works) go bad and caused an SRS code so i disabled it from STAR because i just wasn't in the mood to tackle the problem. though i will fix it for sure if i plan to sell it.
