Hope you see this. Some time ago you posted in my a thread I started about the temp sensor in the overhead center binacle.

https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...placement.html

I am finally moving towards replacing it but the link you posted is no longer good. I have found a couple on Ebay for $50-$75 like this one.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-04-05-06-07-08-09-CLK-DOME-LIGHT-OVERHEAD-CONSOLE-GRAY-NICE-USED-OEM-2/121397047264?_trksid=p2054897.c100204.m3164&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140407115239%26meid%3D0cc21521e80e4c5baad8fee16fd95c07%26pid%3D100204%26prg%3D20140407115239%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D30%26sd%3D131157802552
Is the temp sensor located in this part? If I R&R the part do you know if it requires any reprogramming? Thanks for any input.

Yes, that's the part. Assuming it is all intact, the temperature sensor and fan are in that unit.

Thank you! Should this just be plug and play?

Yep, no coding needed.
