For the 2005 clk 320, How is the reliability on this car? Is there any common problems?

It's a pretty bulletproof car: last year of the m112 320 engine and paired with the 722.6 5 speed transmission. You also get the updated interior setup so it's like the best of both worlds

I have been driving one for the last six or seven years, and I've put nearly 90k miles on it (making a total of 145,000). Still runs great, and no significant problems.

Common issues are the crankshaft position sensor or CPS, which is a $50 part, and valve cover gasket leaks. Neither is a big problem.

Those is super minor to me, any cool mods I could add to this car?

I bought mine in September. It had 100,000 km on it. The only big problem I had was that the car had the valeo radiator which leaked coolant in to the transmission fluid.

I had to change the radiator to the new BEHR one and do a transmission flush.

The rest has been bulletproof and I made the choice on purpose to buy an 05 because I know how well the M112 engine and the 722.6 transmission are.

The 06-07 models had problems with the 350 engine and the 722.9 transmission.

I couldn't be any happier.
