Hey guys I'm a newbie and just brought my first Mercedes 08 clk350 convertible and I want to put in a aftermarket DVD and subs but I don't know where to start and you tube hasn't been much help. So please anyone help me figure out what I need.thanks

There is a lot of info on doing this in the forum. A few caveats - if you have the Harmon Kardon system, you will have to install your own analog wiring from the dash to the trunk. The HK system uses a fiber optic bus to send audio from the head unit to the HK amp in the trunk. The HK am does the analog to digital conversion. So you'll tap into the speaker out wiring there. Also, most sellers claim that the faceplate adapter for the W203 C-Class fits the W209 CLK-Class. It is not an exact fit - the W203 faceplate is slightly wider, and i think one of the bolts my be offset a bit, too. But in a pinch, if you can't find the CLK faceplat, you can make the W203 version work with a bit of alteration.

or u can just take it to audio shop and let them do the install...
