Switches on front seats

Looking to upgrade my CLK270 for a newer CLK320 and have noticed these switches on the front seats. What do these switches do???

That's the Multicontour seat control, which is an optional feature that allows you to adjust the length of the seat bottom cushion, the back lumbar support, and the width of the side bolster. It's a nice feature to have if you can find one with it.

Cheers guy, I was hoping it was going to be a seat massager. Oh well, not too bad tho.

It fills vinyl bladders with air. I mostly forget I have it. Frankly, the lower back bladders are too hard when filled. And the ones under your legs my legs never really touch anyway.

Set it once when you get the car and that's about it.

That option, called "Dynamic Multi-Contour Seats" was not available on the W209. It was available on the SL, E, S, anbd CL models. One of my favorite seating options was the "Drive Dynamic" system available on the E-Class that would actually inflate the side bolsters in corners to help hold you in place.

I had that feature with ventilated seats on my 04 e320. The only thing I really miss on that car compared to this one (oh and my dual layer audio DVD reader in the comand unit). And they removed it for the facelift, leaving only manual lumbar and multicontour only on the 63
