Looks like an audio jack in my glove compartment?

I have what appears to be an audio jack in the glove compartment on the right side of the box. I have tried jacking into my iphone to play music but nothing happened. Any idea if that is what it is and if so how to use it?

It was an optional add-on part in my car, a 2005 CLK. It's just a headphone jack size plug, right? That IS the plug for a 3.5mm audio cable. You have to press and hold the CDC button on your stereo and enable the auxiliary input, then be sure to crank up the volume on your iPod to have it play over your speakers.

Have fun.

Yes, assuming you have the standard audio system and not the COMAND (navigation) system, it's covered on page 216 of your owner's manual. If you have COMAND, then page 77 of its manual.
