Rust
My 2004 CLK320 is getting old. When I lifted the car last week, I noticed some rust bubbles at the bottom of the passenger door. I checked the inside of the car and I could see a few rust spots (not bubbles) all along the door as well. Our w209 has side moldings all around my car. The body shop said they would repair the rust (with metal fillers) and paint the car below this side molding.
As for the door of the driver side, although I cannot see any rust bubbles, I can feel the paint is rough at the bottom (very small area). So, the rust has started on this side as well but not as bad as the passenger side, no sign of rust from the inside.
I am deciding if I should go fix both doors. Although I love this car, I have no idea how long can I hold on to this car. Do you guys have rust on your cars?

Nope, no rust here. One advantage of a dry climate like Denver is that rust is rare. I can pretty much loosen any nut under the car and remove them with my fingers. No corrosion of any kind.

same here - no rust even though the car came from a salt on the road area.

It's a product that's used in boating generally. It neutralizes the salt. Washing it with water/soap is not enough.
This is the one I use:
