No CLK 320 sport suspension in 2005??

Is this correct:

There was no sport suspension offered for a 2005 CLK 320 convertible??

My car has a Sport Package that - as near as I can determine - is appearance only.

I'm confused because I am getting ready (75K miles) to replace my shocks/struts and find that Monroe offers a strut for the Sport Suspension for my car. Could this be for the CLK55??? No Bilstein offered for Sport Suspension. No Boge offered for Sport suspension.

Any clarification/correction would be appreciated.

When I ordered my Monroe's I spoke to both my the vendor, Clark's Discount Auto Parts ( Carl at Online Department ) and my indy MBZ Wrench, I was there when my wrench called MBZ and gave my VIN to confirm Sport Struts for my car. Price was Crazy at $320 each. Carl also confirmed there were two types, standard and sport struts for my 2005 but per my VIN, I must get the sport version.

I am glad I called the vendor, because I almost made a mistake of ordering the standard struts online, prices was much cheaper.

As far as the rears, they are standard shocks.

Monroe Sport Struts 71488ST and Shocks 39047ST

From Clark's Website:

Fronts are made in Spain and Rears are made in Belgium
