How tight will these wheels fit?
Found a decent deal on ebay for some Vossen CV3 reps. Im worried that they wont fit, offsets are fine 35 and 40, and they are only 19's, however will these tires be too big? can i run this setup with 20mm spacers all around? 2004 CLK500

Not sure what your concern is. They are the same widths as what came on the car - 8.5 and 9.5". So assuming the offsets are fine as you say, why do you think you will have issues?

the OEM amg package wheels that came on my car, a 2004 CLK500, are 17" 7.5 et 35 front and 8.5 et40 Rears. Thats why im a little concerned with rubbing and fitment

Hmm, maybe I'm just wrong about the width of my wheels, which are 18", but would be a direct fit on youir car. Maybe mine are 7.5 and 8.5 as well. Anyway, the overall diameter will stay about the same, so you have 1" wider, only half of which matters. Assuming the same offset as what you have now, then your tires will sit 1/2" closer to your struts, shocks etc. If you have more than 1/2" clearance now, you should be good. But even if it rubs, you don't need 20mm spacers. That's nearly an inch. Remember, only half of the additional width matters. Get 10mm if needed because that is the thinnest you can get that are hub centric.
EDIT: As I think about it more, it may be slighly more (or less) than 1/2" wider. The issue is not whether it's 1" wider, but how much of that addtional width is on each side of the mounting surface where the wheel meets the hub. That may be partly a function of offset and partly a function of wheel design.

35 all around can be ran but that 40 in the rear may need 5-10mm spacer I say 10 because 5mm are non hub centric and while vibrate the wheel I've been down this road before

Also i think im going to purchase the wheels seperately and go with 225 front tires and 245 rear instead of 265
