CLK500 Power outlet Cigar Lighter Neither working

Hi All
I have a 2005 CLK500 Cab

My front cigar lighter outlet quit working today. According to info on this wonderful site, fuse 47 under the hood should be the culprit. The fuse is fine and my glove compartment light is working fine. I tried different charging adapters for my phone with no luck. Any ideas?

Part 2
I decided to plug into my 12v power outlet in the rear of the console. Guess what....it doesn't work either. Does this use the same fuse? I've had this car for 8 years and still love it, but it's got more fuse boxes than an atomic power plant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated?
Thanks in advance

Tom

The rear seat 12v socket is fuse 12 on the rear SAM (in the trunk).

If you pull the cover off the driver's side of the dash you will find another Sam. Tucked inside that Sam should be a fuse chart that might help you in the future.

Actually, the fuse panel on the end of the dash is "just a fuse panel" - not a SAM. Only the trunk and under -hood fuse panels are on SAMs. And in case you don't have the fuse information sheet in there, I have the WIS version here:
