So I haven't used my clk for about 11 days. The car opens, I get in and turn the key. All electronics and ac works perfect. It beeps the lights don't dim when I try to start up the engine. But the engine just won't turn over. You hear it try to turn over for a second it just gives up. Also the brakes are firm and won't go down like they used to when I start up the car. I feel that the battery should be fine and i don't know if it might be something with the solenoid. Any insite is appreciated.

Sounds like a weak battery. You should have 12.6v at rest and no less than 11v when turning the key to the start position.

It was the battery. The next day it had died and the only way in was through my faulty back window. Thanks all
