Last time I ordered a filter they sent me a Mahle instead of the Mann I ordered. They later sent me the correct Mann filter but said to just keep the Mahle I received. The part # on the box is OX 153/7 D ECO. Is this the proper Malhe version of the filter insert for the 2006 clk 350? I have found a list of applications online but it seems to skip the 2006 year built.

This is odd. The Mann HU7185X filter fits pretty much every M112, M113, M272 and M273 engine. The Mahle filter only fits the M112 and M113 and specifically states it is not for the M272 or M273. Personally, I'd just get another Mann synthetic fleece filter. You can't go wrong with those.
