Correct Part # - For Lock Mechanism? CLK320 (C209)

Good morning,
I have a 2002 CLK320 (C209) Australian version - right hand drive.

I have the machine gunning lock problem.
I have decided to import the part from the USA and get it installed by a professional.
It is much cheaper to import parts than buy them locally over here.
I've decided not to tackle it myself or buy the new springs to refurb the part.

Could someone please confirm I have located the correct part.
Part Number: 2087200435

(Found here - http://mbonlineparts.com/parts/2002/...&siteid=215843)

These guys do not ship international so I need to find someone else, but I just wanted to make sure I found the right part first.

If anyone is in Melbourne, Australia and can fit the part, feel free to contact me.

Thank you,
Sam

If this is truly a "model year" 2002 car, then that's the correct part as you would have a W208. But if you have a W209, then you have a MY2003 or later, and the part is A2097200435 I know in some countries, the "plate" year is used, and since the MY2003 CLK came out in mid calendar year 2002, there may be some confusion. So, let me ask this: Are your power window switches on the doors or the center console? If the door,s then you have a W209 and probably MY2003. If on the center console, you have a W208.

Thank you for your reply Rudeney.
Yes I've had some confusion with the actual year of this car in the past - when ordering other parts.

But the window controls are on the doors, so I will go with your part number.

I can provide engine or vin # if that is safe/can confirm the correct part further?

edit: The VIN begins - WDB209365....

You have a W209, but it's most likely a model year 2003, even though the "plate year" could be 2002. Auto makers almost always release new model years months before the calendar rolls over. The W209 was introduced in coupe form around the middle of calendar year 200, but it will be a "model year" 2003. The W209 cabriolet came out the middle of calendar year 2003 as a model year 2004.
