Broken Auto Dimming Driver's Mirror
I've seen a few people mention that when their auto dimming mirror broke, that they replaced it with the heated mirror without any issues.
I am looking to order the following part which says non auto dimming.

I'm not sure that this is the heated mirror that other's have used? Any idea if it will fit ok other than me tucking the dimming wires out of the way?
Thanks!

Looking in EPC, that appears to be a non-dimming mirror, but I do not see an indicator for it being heated. In fact, I don't see the mention of a heated mirror except in the auto-dimming version (A2308100521).

Would there be an issue with installing the non-dimming mirror? Is the backing plate different than the auto-dimming one?

i replaced my auto dimming one with a euro non-dimming one. worked like a charm. been fine for years. the heated function works too. there was two tabs to connect them. just doesn't have the plug for the auto dimming function. i actually like it better at night since my windows are tinted

Oh so you put the sticker on the rear view mirror ya? That sounds like a good idea. I'm gonna try it out. My rear is 15 so they're really dark at night.

I received my replacement mirror today and it does seem to be heated. Otherwise, I'm not sure what the two power wires would be for. I tucked the dimming wire into the plastic housing for the dimming connector which isn't there.
