CLK55 Ballast Replacement
My headlights flicker every so often when I'm driving and I have a strong suspicion it is the ballast. I've tried: 1) swapping the bulbs, 2) swapping the igniters.
Does anyone know how many ballasts there are, or even instructions/tips on how to do it?

There's only one ballast per side. Generally the sign that a ballast is going bad is a pink tinge to the light. What you have sounds like a dirty contact or lose wire. Do both bulbs flicker at the same time? Each light has its own ballast so if they both flicker it definitely is not the ballast, in my opinion.

I picked up a ballast from a C-class on ebay for my AMG, same p/n. The Passenger side I was able to get to from under the car by taking the belly pan/wheel well cover off.
The drive side was blocked by windshield washer reservoir and I had to pull the whole bumper.
Three tiny torx screws held it into the bottom of the headlight housing.
