To fit or not to fit, that is the question.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I am looking for a replacement rolltop compartment for my center console. I think I have located one but it is for a 2007 and I have a 2006. Their online application checker says it won't fit but other sites I have looked at seem to indicate that it should fit. Anyone have any idea on a part number that I could check or any other input? It doesn't make sense to me that they would have changed it so soon after the update.

Does your car have the rolltop? If not, and you are trying to "upgrade" to the rolltop style, then you need and entire new center console. If yours has the rolltop and you just need a new part, then it will be the same parts as the MY2007.
