I mean like common, how on earth are you going to get something made from China for around $20-30 a set and resell them for $400 and call them "premium".. I don't see how these would compete with others. I'm not being an unreasonable critic. I'm just saying what I think. Any business owner should know that there's going to be critics against there products... Nothing new.

Conversely, there will be those who prey on the unknowing. It is consumer beware. That said, I tend to give the benefit of the doubt until proven wrong, and the OP has yet to be proven wrong, or right. It is his game to win or lose.

The thing with products from China is that you can get them in any quality you spec. Think iPhones and all iStuff. All made in China, but some of the best items on the planet, and you pay for it.

These aren't businessmen , they are liars with vaporware . Rebranding alibaba crap mats and marking them up 10x does not make for a good vendor or an entrepreneur . In fact it's borderline scam to do this via Kickstarter .

Then why don't you complain to the forum management? I'm sure they wouldn't want a scammer as a sponsor!
As for seeing the scam, to be honest, I couldn't care less. I don't spend all my time researching vendors I have no interest in buying from! Maybe I am "dense" that way, or maybe I have better things to get worked up about!

Often vendors are relegated to a vendor forum only to keep spam out of the user forums. Not the case here, unfortunately.

alright i was going to comment before and then thought naa not going to bash a sponsor but now what the hell..
400$$$$$$???
Really find it hard that its going to sell.. I import 2-3 20 foot containers every couple of months into the country from China. All my suppliers are Chinese. Almost every product from a Chinese company has different specs and tier levels at different cost, sometimes they are visually perfectly similar. but not at a 300-400$ premium.. sorry, doesn't sound legit.. Also even if they are.. thats way to expensive for a set of floor mats, maybe if they have a lifetime warranty! sure then that would make sense!

Compatible Inks and Toners, Sublimation Printing Solutions wholesale and retail (machines/training + final products), Also recently got hold of GP Batteries' Distribution License for Lebanon and I'm going into retail (pretty damn hard). All top quality Chinese goods, sometimes even better then premium American/Korean, though much cheaper.

Other then that the news makes everything way too bloated, its all good.. Well technically we've been without a functioning government for a long long time, but now its just on a newspaper.
Come visit sometime! haha

Not to well, way too much unfair competition in almost everything. Not having a functioning government doesn't help at all, way too many goods in the country imported without custom duties. Hurts every business that operates by the law..

Yea you pretty much summarized it. Much better then when this started last summer. You dont find piles on the street anymore. But i wouldn't call it functioning, its still pretty hard to find somewhere to throw your garbage and im sure whatever the government is doing right now with all the garbage is going to backfire soon enough. A lot of municipalities now force recycling which is good but it should be national.. I mean we have an electricity shortage and a waste surplus it should be 1+1=2 but now its more like 1+1= 0.1(for this party) and 0.1(for that party) and so on and so on.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I love how only the premium has "premium" features such as "anti-slip spikes" and "durable" materials. Last I checked those were pretty much basic requirements of a floor mat.

That's one of my biggest gripes with this forum is that vendors always post f/s adds in the normal categories rather than doing it in the for sale/specific vendor thread.
It's annoying to me and clutters up the forum. It's even more annoying if you ask a question in said thread, and they don't reply.

Hi Everybody,
Here is the reason we have raised our prices:
We launched late last November and took orders for about a month in order to get feedback and test out our product. The prices at the time were lower because we used different materials, after we received feedback/suggestions we decided to switch our materials to match the consumer quality expectations here in the US. Since then we stopped taking orders and the quality of the materials have drastically improved and are very different from the other Chinese mats out in Aliexpress. You can refer back to our post (Why AutoPreme > Other Chinese Mats). We also added in new colors for stitching along with a carbon fiber heel grip option.
As to our new prices:
We will be taking new orders through our KickStarter Campaign which we plan to launch by mid-May starting at a low price of $280 (only for Early Birds).*The KickStarter prices will be very discounted from our retail price, so make sure to purchase them as soon as we launch!*The early bird deals will run out very quickly!
*Kickstarter Early Birds Price: $280
*Retail Price*of a set of*AutoPreme*Floor Mats: $450-$550
Lastly, subscribe to our newsletter for updates and more information:

Curiouser and curiouser. Seems that AutoPreme doesn't show up in Kickstarter's list of projects. I'd like to hear that explanation.

They're showing a September delivery meaning the have to get their containers from China first, then repackage. Putting lipstick on a pig.

We have put our delivery as September because we will be shipping out the mats by a first come first serve basis and the molds we currently already have. We will be shipping out mats as soon as the campaign is over. The later delivery date is geared towards the new molds we will have to make.

If they really are free and you wanna send me a set here to be an ambassador, I'm down. I've seen the Chinese sets and a couple other competitors that have been set up in the last little bit.
