Front suspension/camber EDITED 5/8/16

I am changing both front control arms and the strut. I tried to save some money buying MOOG lower/camber control arm. DON'T They could be dangerous as the knuckles inside the mounting bushing will not engage with the OEM fluted bolt. The knuckles are too small (the gap between them is too large) and thus the arm can move back and forth inside the slotted bushing about 3/4 of an inch. I saw this while inspecting the MOOG before installation. There was also some thin sharp edges inside the bushing. Get Lemforder from the start and save yourself the hassle of returning defective parts.

FYI The Lemforder lower control arms I bought are made in Turkey, Bilstein strut, and I think the Sachs mount, is made in Germany, and Dorman upper control arm is made in China.

The front end work I completed ($1584 in parts including two rims & tires) yesterday, and the car seems to track well. I'll get it aligned this coming week at Mercedes.

I will always use lemforder, since they were the suppliers to mercedes for our cars. When they aren't available, I will go direct to Mercedes for the parts. The difference in quality is really quite significant.
