Unless you mean the Gran Turismo aftermarket kit specifically, many AMG calipers are manufactured by Brembo but very few OEM kits have the two piece rotors even if they do have Brembo calipers. Two piece rotors are the expensive part since they have an aluminum alloy hub center and weigh significantly less than the single piece iron rotors, and that weight is critical since its unsprung/rotating weight. Thus, the Brembo GT kit is far superior to any oem Amg brake kit IMO... Even the mighty 63 AMG brakes are optimized for cost instead of performance. The CLK63 cabriolet half asses it and actually comes with two piece front rotors but not rears for the drive wheels. Since I have that kit (rebranded by Renntech) I talked with racing brake about making them, and they did! There two piece rotor replacements are the lightest and hardest out there. Now I finally have full two piece rotors on each corner but it would have been way easier to just buy a kit. You might also look into stoptechs if you are looking at BBK options.

RacingBrake is your one-stop source for all your brake needs regardless it's just for replacement or upgrade.
We offer various options:
Light weight two piece rotors - Replacing OE's bulky and heavy one piece or OE's extremely expensive two piece rotors.

Upgrade to higher models' brake system - With OE 6 pot front and 4 pot rear caliper kit with RB two piece rotors and caliper adaptors (designed by RB)
Such as C63 Black Series 390/360 on C63's 360/330mm rotor kit. (The rear hat is specifically designed to fit C63's 165mm drum brake)

Complete RB caliper brake kits:

Like these kits we built for ML63:

Thinking to upgrade to Carbon Ceramic brakes for amazing weight saving (about 1/2 of iron rotors) and almost "no brake dust" braking set up.
RB has complete CCM brakes for Mercedes costing 1/2 of OE set up with quick leadtime.

Standard CLK500 from 2005 uses Brembo 4 piston caliper.
Didn't weigh mine so can';t say how much Al/Fe content.
For someone with a 320 with shoddy single piston "slider" brakes, they would be great upgrade. Cheap and have nice "MB" logo. Worth finding a set (with rotors and mounting hardware) in a scrap yard or Ebay auction, in my humble opinion. Note, a 320 may need bigger wheels & tires as a result. The brakes are large and powerful.
No, not as powerful as CLK63 ones, but exactly 1 gazillion percent cheaper when time comes to buy parts. And the large rotor filling the wheels looks hot (to those who know what its means)
