More clk issues...ABS ESP break light wear

Recently had some audio work done where the battery was disconnected...get the abs esp break light indicator lights...assumed it was break light switch (had issue with w208) opened it up and realized these cars don't have one.

When I turn on the car, if the lights come on it won't let me shift out of P...the brake lights in the rear do turn on when I hit the breaks, I restart the car and usually am good to go. Today the check engine light came on for codes p0600 and p0720...I tried turning the wheels all the way left and right three times and it didn't help. I checked voltage of battery when on and it was at 14.5

Any advice is greatly appreciated, all these small issues are starting to add up. Thank you all for your time

Did you do any other battery checks? Just because it is 14.5 with the car doesn't mean that battery is good. These cars do a bunch of pre-checks as soon as you insert the key and low voltage with screw with a lot of things. It to 2 star scans before i noticed the correlation between my problems and the battery.

FYI I had the same 2 codes and paid $1100 bucks to get the conductor plate replaced for no reason.

What did it end up being? The battery? From my search online it could be
Voltage regulator
Conductor plate
Leak into transmission somewhere
(I do have a Valero radiator on a 2005)

Probably a sensor but without a scanner......

update: when I turn on the headlights the error lights will come on when driving. I did recently put on DEPO headlights but I don't feel like there is any correlation between the wiring and Abs Esp brake wear lights...I'm going to change the battery to an OEM Mercedes battery soon. I am also replacing the Valeo that came in my 05 as well...any other ideas?

I tried calling roadside assistance to come and swap out the battery but apparently they only offer jump starts now, no battery replacement

I'd wager it is not the battery but more likely the ESP module or an ABS sensor.
Our cars are 12 years old now......

After some search on the Audi forums I found that my HID ballast was mount on the ESP module causing it to trigger the error codes. I moved it over just a bit and have had no issues in two days. Problem hopefully solved
