Clk550 Seat problem

I just bought my first Benz 07 clk550 p1 p2 p3 designo amg package. Was detailing the interior and wanted to remover the seats. I removed the 4 bolts and was pulling up in the seat from the rear to reposition it and I heard a noise. I examine the seat and there is a spring under the driver side seat that is disconnected see the picture. I can't figure out how to reattach this spring. Any info is appreciated.

It's not disconnected in that picture - it's right where it should be.

It's hard to tell from that picture but it doesn't have tension like the other one has. When you put the seat down it clicks back in but if I lift the seat forward to let a passenger in the back I hear it pop and it loses tension while the other one stays put. I was trying to find some black clk55 seats to swap in due to the better bolsters.

The spring is in place, but make sure there's not a bracket broken where the seat cushion attaches to the frame.
