You're correct - that gasket I posted is for the M272/M273 engine and it's a bit different. On the M112/M113, if there is a leak, it's inside the cooler so the whole thing needs to be replaced.

has your coolant gone down any? If you have a leak it has too.
Also since your still concerned , drain the oil and let it sit and see if you see any separation.

Update Since my last checking

Hey Guys.

So just an update. I've left this for a few days. Our morning temperature has picked up dramatically it's now getting nice and warm here.

Drove an hour to work today. Car was really nice and hot.

Opened the car when I got to the office

So I'm quite convinced now it's either oil cooler or some other seal somewhere else.

What you guys think?

Here's another pic taken same time. But you can actually see the greenish tint of the coolant on the left

i still say you should do an oil change and save the old oil let it sit and see what it looks like before you start replacing parts

I say you just replace the motor and the coolant system. That will fix the problem for sure.

Hey Guys, So we replaced the oil cooler and seals the weekend, and flushed the entire coolant,

Drove to work this morning,

Immediately when I turned off the engine, quickly got out and checked the oil cap:

So Not sure, if thats maybe still condensation, or are their any other seals that you guys recommend I take a look at?

Honestly, that just doesn't look very serious to me. When you pull the cap and you can't see the plastic moldings, then that's a problem.

Yeah, I've decided to just let it go for now and check the oil when I next change it, but monitoring the oil level,

Are you aware of any other seals that might fail that can cause this?

Thanks for the all the replies so far.

Wouldn't head gasket be mixing a hell of a lot more than that, and coolant levels would drop quickly?

yes, yes it would. I dont think you have a head gasket problem. If you did you'd have way more problems.

I still say just drive it for a month and leave it. Your going to make yourself nuts looking every day.
