Bluetooth solution

I have monitored this forum since January when I purchased my 07 CLK550. One of my first posts was questions regarding Bluetooth since my car did not come with a connection in the armrest. The responses ranged from $2000 for factory installed at stealership to various aftermarket solutions some not available and others were less than desirable. I continued my search and recently found Keith Valentine, cellguy@live.com. Tel number 714-746-5930, audio only , no text. After a friendly conversation, he proposed a "cheater kit " he has put together using Mercedes parts for $475. He provided full installation instructions and the kit. I installed it this morning in 1 hour . The installation was a 2 out of 10 in difficulty, and the system integration is perfect. All steering wheel controls function as well as the command screen buttons for phone book, calls made and received. The sound quality is excellent using my iPhone 6s.
I strongly encourage anyone who is looking for the factory Bluetooth phone connectivity that the cars should have come with to contact Keith.

Is this a cable and the Bluetooth puck?

Can you post pictures of the kit?

The kit is already installed so I cannot take a pic without removing the trunk/carpet liner. The kit is composed of a module that is mounted in the right side of the trunk where the pre wiring is for the factory phone assuming the car was equipped with the pre wiring. The other part of the kit is the mounting connection for the Bluetooth module and the Bluetooth module "puck" to be mounted in the console. He sends a link for the factory installation instructions and he spent close to an hour on the phone with me to review and modify the factory installation instructions to fit the "cheater kit" that he sells. His kit eliminates all the parts related to the antenna and antenna booster that were necessary to support the factory phone. He told me that he would be available by phone if I had any problems but I did not need any further instructions during the installation.
