Squeak after Pads and Rotors replaced
My front end is squeaking after having the pad and rotors replaced. Is this normal?

I had my pads and rotors recently replace. There is a squeak. I also had the same problem when I had them changed 50K miles ago. I used brake lube (bright orange color stuff) while I had the wheels off to paint the rotor.
You can take it back to the shop and tell them it squeaks and let them lube the brakes. That way if there is some other issue, they can address it. (hopefully gratis or warranty)

Is this a suspension squeak or a brake squeal? Sometime lifting the car can move bushings so that bad ones become more noisy. If it's brake squeal, I'd ask what pads, what rotors, and did you you brake paste?

Its brakes. No squeak before changing the pads and rotors. The mechanic used genuine MB parts. I don't know whether they used paste (I hope they would!)
4K since they were changed and the squeak is getting worse. Taking the car in next week.

Brake squeal rarely comes from the pad against the rotor - it's usually the pad vibrating against the caliper. That's what brake paste solves - it's a lubricant for the back side of the pad to keep it from being metal-on-metal against the caliper. When the squeal is pad on rotor, it's often because the pad does not contact the rotor evenly, and that is caused by caliper slides that need cleaning and lubrication) or defective pistons.

Squeak fixed. Warranty job by my mechanic. Says it is very common. He does a lot of Mercs and majority seem to need some attention after a short while. WOuld think he knows how to avoid the cars coming back by now
