Yep! Had the tracking done just after they were fitted and watched him do it on those swanky hunter laser system thingys. They wore perfectly even anyhow, just down to below 1.6mm and needed changing. I went with Hankooks as that is what the dealer was ordering for it to replace the one illegal tyre that was on it; when I was going through the time of purchase. They weren't cheap either. Albeit not as much as these Michelins, but not far from them.

I thought with BMW starting to supply them as OE tyres they'd be decent. Nevertheless, lesson learnt

I never considered Hankook tires as a real tires. To me, the are not tires for luxury/performance cars. Always had Michelin on all cars I owned. Considered Pirelli but when I bought Benz, all 4 fairly new Pirelli had bad side bulbs and were a must for replacement.
Do Pirelli really that suck? All 4 and fairly new tires went in trash...

That was both the opinion of my Father and myself, until I saw that BMW were fitting them as OE, even to the new 7 series, and it made me reevaluate that standpoint. Dad has always fitted Dunlop or Michelin. But on my last CLK, I put a full set of Bridgestone on and they were good performance tyres.

Let's just see what mileage I get on these, ey?

Could BMW decide to go cheap route? I bet they got great deal of $$$ for that exclusivity.
