AMG sway bars

Any of you guys have amg sway bars in their clk500? I need to change my sway bars and i was just thinking of upgrading to amg ones. Are they expensive and can they be bought any other place other than dealer? Any suggestions or inputs guys? thanks a lot

I drive the racism out of BadDebt. ;)
H&R swaybars are fair priced, and i think they are a bit thicker than AMG.

AMG sway bars are very inexpensive (can't remember exact figure)
However, they are only very minimally thicker than those you already have, so not even worth the effort.
Better to go with H&R
You will notice a huge difference in handling.

thanks guys, one more question. Do we need only one in the front? and is 26mm the best for our cars or 19mm or smaller?

This is where I got mine....

IMO, better to get front and rear, not just front. The front is 26 mm. and the rear is 19 mm. Also, you need the ones with 12 mm. end link holes.

Hey guys,

I also have a CLK 500 and I'm also interested in upgrading the swaybars. Is this difficult to replace?

Thanks,
atyclk5
