Yo Momma
This happened to me two days ago when i went to the dealer to buy a taillight bulb lol, and i took out the bulb plates inside and left the wires hanging and locked the car, when i was in parts dept my alarm went off then i pressed unlocked and locked it again then it went off again, i noticed that my trunk wasnt closed properly, then i closed it properly all the way and locked the car, it was fine then. I dont know if that was the reason but make sure everything is closed properly? If that doesnt work then i dont know try disconnecting the battery and reconnect it.

Alarm sounding

The culprit of your problem may be the alarm siren having water ingress in the cables. The siren is located under the left hand side wing.

To determine if this is what is setting the alarm off a Star Diagnostic machine can interrogate the system will have information stored relating to what has triggered the alarm.

Hope this helps.

I had this problem fixed this afternoon. The electric siren for the alarm system was defective and was shorting out the alarm system. so even if I was driving or the key was placed i the ignition, the alarm would still go off.

my bet is that it's or siren for the alarm system.

05clk: - wing = fender in UK/Canada.

If you jack up the front of the car on the left side and remove the front wheel you can see that there is an inner liner (in 3 sections) fixed under the fender. Behind that there is a void in which several components are located, including the alarm system.

So to examine the alarm unit you have to remove either 1 or 2 of these panels... I believe that it has a small back-up battery to make it independent of the main battery.

Further to my post above, my WIS advises that the ATA unit access is via the rear inner fender above the front right wheel.

can't help you much there. Luckilly i have the ELM mercedes Extended warranty and it was fully covered. but the siren is in the front passenger side wheel well area under the hood.
