The concept itself is limited not only by its inherent factor of safety to promote the life of the engine but to a lesser extent also by the transmission system and various plateaus where larger investments yield more marginal returns.

At some point in time it becomes more acceptable to consider CLK320 engined cars, CLK55 AMG and then crossing the unknown by placing an SL55 engine into a CLK55. These are more tangible gains which although seem less ambitious, provide instant returns at a fixed price.

Dont underestimate the value of your own time and loose cash. Far too many people want to prove they can do what Benz can do with more money than is required.
