Well, it's me behind the wheel and my car by that time. Now it is sold. No LSD, open diff. ESP holds quite well when you shoot straight even shut off. Tires were Vredestein UltracSessantas 235/40x18" and 265/35x18".

I also must have had a bad experience trying out a C55 last fall as the transmission felt lazy and fairly slow(only 28k mile car so it wasn't old and tired at all). I need to get out and try another C/CLK soon.

Here is my CLK500 with secondary cat, muffler and resonator delete with an X-pipe (the rest is straight pipes). I get people telling me it sounds like an AMG and they're surprised when I tell them it's not! Enjoy!

Tell me about it, have only had the car about a year but driven lots of fun/fast toys in that time period and there is just something about the CLK that puts a smile on my face every time. Just noticed your gear shifter, if you don't mind me asking where did you get it?

They were crazy expensive at the time....around $400 IIRC.
