y'know he probably beats parking tickets with that setup. If a ticket ID's his car as a Benz he just shows his registration for a Chrysler and it's dismissed. I had a 1986 Nissan Maxima that I debadged and it got misidentified all the time: Subaru, Toyota, etc. Beat tickets every time.

c300/350 comes stock with the badge(amg package) but still i wouldn't like to have a posers badge.

Maybe from your dealers, but not here in the states and from what I can gather not from the factories. Doesn't matter the package.

O srry I apologize in Holland they do come stock with amg badge, if these people put the badges on their cars themselfs yes they are posers

Hmmm totally wrong, i've seen numerous Mercedes from every class here in So CA & multi-other states badged w/AMG on NON AMG vehicles, they are advertised/sold on premier Mercedes Dealership lots as such..

Dealerships either started or @ very least furthered this trend to increase sales etc to uninformed buyers, I've spoken to a few & they totally think it's legit as they should, since they unwittingly purchased these cars NEW w/incorrect badging.

You guys should stick to real posing instances that involve total rebadging IE 55/65/63 AMG BITURBO/KOMPRESSOR etc.. Get over these lame S500/SL500/clk430/s430/c300 etc AMG badged cars they are 99% Dealer installed newbs..

EDIT: the 1% S500 above... Look's like the buyer stuck refigerator A M G letters on that heap..

We've gone around with this too many times...Does it have the AMG engine?...does the vin come out as an AMG?...

If the answer is no, it's not an AMG = poser


The "S" poser above can't even get the correct badge.

Agree def NOT from FACTORY, though many Premier MB Dealerships add the AMG badge to brand new NON AMG 550/500/430 etc models, obviously to promote sales to uninformed public who want AMG 55/65/63 models but can't afford them etc..

Even if it comes from the dealership badged its still "real" posing! I don't care how the badge gets on there....once its on there its a poser!
