2001 e55 rims on 99 clk 430

hey guys can i fit 2001 e55 rims on a 99 clk 430 the e55 size is front 18/8 and the rear is 18/9 if so what size tires are recommended?

Yes, perfect fit. You can use the stock lugs with OEM monoblocks.

I used 235/40-18 front and 265/35-18 rear. A less aggressive combo would be 225s up front and 255s in back.

hey Thanks for the info. i get my rims today so i will go with the less aggresive set up what tires do u recomend i was thinking about the continetal dws

I'm running Michelin PS2s. Sorry, don't know anything about the DWS by Continental.

clk update

so i did the 235/35/18 with 255/35/18 so far it looks great i think i might do a 1 inch drop all around with lowering springs any idea on what springs i should use?

Vogtland, they only offer a 1.4" drop but you adjust the drop with larger spring pads.
