led foglights - resistor value

hi guys

i installed on my w209 clk 200k led foglights HB4 (9006), i try to put a 50Watt 6ohm resistor, but it seemd don't work well

with or without resistor foglights go on for a second, then go off for 4-5 seconds and ON another time for 1 seconds...........again and again

do you know correct resistors valute to use?
