Congrats. I love this model car! I am excited for you as the SL 55 or 600 is my next purchase. I will keep my CLK as well. That being said, I look forward to your review of the two cars because I often wonder how they compare. I would also like to know how it performs on the road course and 1/4 mile track in comparison to the CLK. You and I are one of the several that have taken our CLK's on the road course tracks so I value your review.
Please keep us updated as you test your new car out and be sure to post some more pictures.

Well so far I can tell you in a straight line it is a rocket. It pulls like a freight train in afterburn. Surprisingly for a car that weighs 4300lbs it handles remarkably well. The ABC really makes this car handle for its weight.
The weight is quite noticeable in the ride quality. Such a solid feal. Buy one you will love it!!! Plus you just can't beat how it looks. No matter what angle you look at the SL55 it looks stunning. It truley makes a statement you drive one. -O

Sweet ride. Hows it feel compared to the CLK? As far as I know the CLK is about 800lbs lighter.
