replaced maf and crankshaft sensor and new code came up

Hey guys i have a 2003 clk55. i had the maf and the crankshaft position sensor replaced due to starting, running rough, and stalling issues.today i drove it and it was driving fine with no check engine light on. i took it to the car wash and as they were wiping it down it just stalled. i got it started and the check engine light came on. i took it to the mechanics and they pulled a code that read:

P0341
Camshaft position sensor
Sensor A Circuit
Range/Performance
(Bank 1 or single sensor)

what does this mean and where is this sensor located?

Cam shaft pos sensor is at front psg side of motor. Easy to replace.

Do a search for cam shaft pos sensor.

GL.

so i replaced the camshaft sensor and still didnt solve the problem. so right now i replaced the maf, camshaft sensor, and crankshaft sensor. i did notice that between the connectors of the camshaft sensor theres oil. when i disconnected it theres oil inside the connector. can that cause a bad connection issue and throwing off the camshaft sensor?

Buy a scanner and pull codes again. Codes will give you a starting point.

What is it doing? stalling? rough idle?

I think I have a similar issue, my car dies as soon as it cranks up. I pulled the code and it said maf but Ive read different symptoms when the maf goes bad. Its not the crank position sensor because it doesnt stall after being warmed up. What are the symptoms of a bad cam shaft sensor? I cant really find any doing a search

at first it was a starting issue. it would just crank and not start but after a couple tries it would finally start. i was told it was crankshaft sensor so i replaced that. the problem was still there. then a code for maf came saying low input, so i replaced he maf. then another code came up P0341 which is the crank shaft pos sensor. so i replaced that and still theres a problem. starting issue, rough idle, and stalls.

Other ideas: fuel filter dirty, fuel pump dying? O2 sensors?

Parts are too expensive on these cars to just throw parts at it trying to solve you problem.... I'd prob go to dealer or a good indie at this point..... to get hands-on diagnosis.....

I have a Dash-Daq which reads the ecu read-outs real-time while I drive... it can be useful for trying to decipher problems.

Also check for simple easy things.... like loose or missing or cracked vac hoses.... a vac leak will cause idle problems. Make sure MAS meter is secured properly into the rubber connectors.. there should not be any vac leaks anywhere. Make sure MAS Meter plug is securely fitted. Make sure the new CPS you installed is a good unit... best bet is to get a new one from Autohauz AZ...... If you're still getting a crank pos sensor code.. then you may have another bad CPS....... GL.....
