Yup gotta love our MAF's. Happen to me 3 times. Keep going until you get a good one, but I figured out the solution when I had $500 into them... buy one with a life time warrenty
I have noticed these things are weak as hell. You bump them and they go bad. You have to handle them like a infant. Any fast movmement or bump will make them go bad. Blow on them or get a spec of dirt and bye bye MAF.

Are you getting an OEM Bosch MAF or a generic from China.

went with oem, I cant get myself to buy anything but oem parts for this car.
So when I went back to get the 2nd ass air meter installed it still kept dying and would not stay running. They noted that one of my vacuum lines on the driverside was very brittle and was actually taped with electrical tape, lol, gotta love people.I got the car back today but havent had much of a chance to drive it to see if the problem is still there(god i hope not). But it did seem to be a little smoother when it comes to an idle when I make a complete stop.Ill keep you guys posted. |
