Now what?!! its ticking!!!! HELP!
If you have a code reader, unplug the MOT the next time it's clicking. If the sound stops , thats it. Plug it back in and order a new one. Unplugging the MOT while the car is running may trigger a CEL. You can reset the CEL with the code reader. |

The ticking is from the canister purge valve. Has been ticking for a few weeks. Now tonight it is running fine and just dies and will not restart, had to give it gas to restart it, now i have a CEL. Could this be link to the canister purge valve???
