AMG 63 Aluminum paddle conversion gonna be plug and play for early CLK55 models

DCTMS is excited to release another great products for AMG cars
The AMG 63 paddle conversion module which can make the desirable AMG aluminum paddles plug and play to all AMG steering wheels with +/- pins in the front and silver buttons in the back. No more "hotwiring" conversion to these wheels

Since Mercedes AMG models share the same airbag module from W209, R230, W219 to late W211, The paddle steering wheels gonna fit all early years AMG55 cars without intense modification

With our paddle converter, these wheels will be an easy fit to the CLK55,SL55 and CLS55

contact us: sales@dctms.com
for product and ordering information

CLK55 AMG
so if i understand correctly: I still have to dremel the steering wheel, but don't have to replace and cut the wiring and stuff? I just buy the paddles, and your converter box, and plug these in into my oem wiring?

Or you can buy CLS63/E63 steering wheels which already use the paddles in the back!
Ever better the CLK63 BS one!

they are all the same, so if you have the buttons for up/down shift then it will work yes.

if your buttons have numbers 870273-0002 & 870273-0003 on them, then yes

if your buttons have numbers 870273-0004 & 870273-0005, then there is a different solution for you

Chris

P.s. the above answer was E55-specific .... to be clear, this module is ALSO for all of the early CLK's (and SL's for that matter) with part numbers 870273-0000 & 870273-0001 on their buttons

CLS 55 AMG - one of the last off the AMG line
Just to be sure....

I have a CLS 55 AMG 2006. What do you guys think. Buy a new steering wheel - OR fit the paddles ?

Thoughts ?

Also - where on the page are the buttons for sale ? I only saw the steering wheels.

The AMG 63 paddle conversion module for cars with button part numbers 870273-0004 & 870273-0005 (2006 e55 included IIRC) is different.

This second AMG 63 paddle conversion module will ALSO be available through IVAN (at DCTMS). He and I have not discussed pricing on this second solution, but if you send him a PM or an email, I am sure he will get you some pricing info soon.

Chris
