so if i understand correctly: I still have to dremel the steering wheel, but don't have to replace and cut the wiring and stuff? I just buy the paddles, and your converter box, and plug these in into my oem wiring?

Wont work for you Mikey, it's for the AMG's that have the OEM single phase buttons.

they are all the same, so if you have the buttons for up/down shift then it will work yes.

if your buttons have numbers 870273-0002 & 870273-0003 on them, then yes

if your buttons have numbers 870273-0004 & 870273-0005, then there is a different solution for you

P.s. the above answer was E55-specific .... to be clear, this module is ALSO for all of the early CLK's (and SL's for that matter) with part numbers 870273-0000 & 870273-0001 on their buttons

The AMG 63 paddle conversion module for cars with button part numbers 870273-0004 & 870273-0005 (2006 e55 included IIRC) is different.

This second AMG 63 paddle conversion module will ALSO be available through IVAN (at DCTMS). He and I have not discussed pricing on this second solution, but if you send him a PM or an email, I am sure he will get you some pricing info soon.

Yes, we also research on E55 wires and this can also fit E55

Does not work on w208 CLK55. Only works on cars with the shift buttons already in place

Your C55 does not need this, yours is plug and play.
