CLK 55 Wheel Fitment
Hi, I'm looking at a set of CLK63 Black series wheels.
From what I gathered the default offset of the Black series wheels are.
Front: 265/30R19 with 9.0x19 wheel and 25mm offset
Rear : 285/30R19 with 9.5x19 wheel with 31mm offset
and stock 2005 CLK AMG
Front 30mm offset
Rear 25mm offset
What issues will occur If I purchased these wheels?

I would think you'd have to get rep's in the offset for our cars. Lots of good info here https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...nt-thread.html

No expert but
I had to use this cool tool from the website
https://mbworld.org/forums/tire_rim_calculator.php
Right now I am at 19 x 8.5 ET26 and it is pretty flush. I am not sure that you can run the 9 up front. The calculator states vs my current set up.
Inner Clearance:
5.35mm less
Outer Position:
extend by 7.35mm
I know that I do not have 5mm less due the coilover perch. I got like 1 mm. Then, I also do not think I have 7mm on the outer without hitting the fender even if I rolled the hell out of them. I cannot speak to stock suspension though.
But then check out sweet jones sick ride.

He is pretty aggressive but don't think has to worry about the big brakes on the 05 AMGs.
Bottom line, I think running a 9 is too big up front with the brakes of an 05. Just me guessing though.
I went through a lot to get my current set up and am really happy with it. But it was pretty nerve racking when you are talking mm on whether it is going work.
Good luck!
